Life is Too Short

For the past couple of months I have been going through some changes in my thinking. I don't know if it is just apart of getting older or if it is a result of situations and circumstances going on in my life that has brought me to this point. For example: I have decided to resign from my second job after I have completed the shifts I have signed up for. It seems to me the amount of money you make doesn't really matter. In this economy everyone is struggling. I do know that I have enough family so I will always have a roof over my head whether it is my own or someone elses. I do know I will always have food to eat. I do know I will always have a way to get back and forth to my job. I am blessed. I am one of the fortunate ones. I just think life is too short to spend all your time trying to make ends meet when in the long run it doesn't really matter if you can't or don't have some kind of joy in your life.

God did not intend for us to be miserable. His intention was for us to enjoy life. Life passes by regardless of how much you work or play.

I'm not saying it's ok to let bills go. I'm not saying it's ok to be irresponsible. All I'm saying is Life is too short.

So my thinking is this: Phillippians 4:19 My God will supply all your needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus.

I am trusting this verse. I am claiming it as my own. I am believing that God's word is true and He can and will take care of me. For He is the ultimate care giver. Life is too short to not have Joy!
