Finding Friends

The internet is a wonderful thing. You can do searches, check e-mail, shop, and one of the most important things I have found is find old friends. Friends who you have not seen or spoken to in days, months or years. I have gone back as far as middle school and found friends. People who you have thought about when a memory comes back and you wonder "what ever happened to so and so". It's amazing how with a few words and a click of a button you can get back in touch and catch up on your lives. It becomes a way of reconnecting with people who knew you way back when. Even though things may have changed there is still a tiny part about you that your old friend knew. It brings you back to an innocence where if you look deep down inside is still there. It makes you feel good that someone knew you during that time in your life, and makes you realize that the real you is still alive and struggling everyday just like everyone else. I am thankful for the internet. And I am thankful for finding old friends.
