One of the goals of the Christian life is growth right? We desire a deeper relationship with Jesus. We pray "Oh Lord, draw me closer to you", "Make me like you Jesus". It is our desire to become more "spiritual," not in a prideful way but in a humble "I need you, change me, show me, grow me" way.
Then our kid comes out...and our prayers provide opportunity.
